The Boutique Hotel Morgan project originated from the transformation of a large traditional Istrian stone house, which we reimagined—through a comprehensive interior and exterior design project, along with the coordination of the building’s reconstruction—into a boutique hotel with a clear identity and a strong experiential value. The starting point of the project was to preserve the authenticity of the original structure and the character of its location, while simultaneously creating a refined hospitality environment aligned with contemporary standards and guest expectations.

The design concept is based on a carefully balanced relationship between old and new—between the original stone fabric, classical elements, modern comfort, and a sense of timeless elegance. Through the redefinition of the reception area, shared spaces, accommodation units, and outdoor zones, the hotel was shaped into an environment that feels authentic, layered, and visually distinctive. The contrast between nostalgia and contemporaneity becomes the central theme of the project, creating an atmosphere that is at once warm, sophisticated, and rich in experience.

Special attention was given to spatial hierarchy, materials, detailing, and ambiance—from the representative entrance and suites to the exterior areas with a pool and lounge zones. The result is a boutique hotel that merges the authenticity of Istrian heritage with clearly articulated contemporary luxury, offering guests an intimate, elegant, and memorable stay experience.
