The interior of the house in Vodnjan was designed with the goal of creating a contemporary, calm, and long-lasting space that equally suits the owner’s private residence and tourist rental. The project included a complete interior design concept — from spatial organization and architectural shaping of wall surfaces to the selection of materials, lighting, and all key interior elements.

The interior concept is based on a balanced combination of warm natural materials, light textures, and carefully controlled contrasts. Wood, stone, and neutral tones create a calm and elegant atmosphere, while details such as black fixtures, integrated lighting, and precisely designed volumes give the space a contemporary character. Special attention was given to the architectural treatment of walls and built-in elements, adding depth, rhythm, and a clear spatial logic to the interior.

Each room was conceived as part of a larger whole, while still maintaining its own identity and atmosphere. The bedrooms are designed as calm and intimate zones for rest, while the living areas are open, connected, and adapted for shared living.

The result is an interior that feels elegant and understated, yet clearly defines the identity of the space — contemporary, functional, and comfortable, with an emphasis on long-term quality and timeless design.
