As part of the complete renovation of a former storage space in the historic center of Rovinj, we created an interior that blends contemporary functionality with rustic charm. This charming miniature home spans two levels: the basement combines the kitchen and living room, while the upper floor features a private area with an elegant bedroom and bathroom.
The space’s unique atmosphere is enhanced by exposed stone walls, carefully restored and complemented by modern elements such as minimalist furniture, discreet LED lighting, and a neutral color palette. The open kitchen, accented with wood and black details, flows seamlessly into the living room, creating a cozy setting for relaxation and everyday living.
Upstairs, a glass partition with textile curtains subtly separates the spaces, preserving both airiness and privacy. The bathroom is designed in stone tones, with thoughtfully chosen lighting and modern fixtures, while the bedroom’s clean lines are enriched with natural textures and understated decor.
The project exudes simplicity, functionality, and a deep respect for its context – a truly authentic example of transforming space into a contemporary Mediterranean interior.
