ABOUT THE PROJECT

A Contemporary Family Home Defined by Materials, Light, and Refined Details

The interior of this family house in Tinjan was conceived as a calm and functional environment where the everyday rhythm of family life is seamlessly connected with refined materials, warm lighting, and clearly organized spatial zones. The living room, kitchen, and dining area form the central hub of the home, while the private spaces—including the walk-in wardrobe, home office, and bathrooms—continue the same design language in a quieter and more intimate atmosphere.

The project is based on a balance of natural textures, darker tones, wood cladding, large glass surfaces, and bespoke furniture. Every element within the space serves a clear functional purpose while simultaneously contributing to the overall character of the home—from the kitchen island and built-in library in the living area to the wardrobes, wall cladding, and integrated lighting solutions.

Rather than relying on expressive decorative gestures, the interior is defined by precise proportions, material continuity, and a calm architectural composition. The result is a contemporary, warm, and thoughtfully designed home created to stand the test of time.

LIVING AREA

A Living Space Shaped by Light and Views

The living area was conceived as the heart of the home—a place for gathering, relaxation, and everyday living. The fireplace, expansive built-in library, and TV wall composition form a calm architectural ensemble where function and atmosphere merge into a unified spatial experience.

Warm wood tones, textured surfaces, and ambient lighting create a sense of depth, while the large glazed wall opens the interior towards the surrounding greenery, strengthening the connection between the home and its natural setting.

KITCHEN AND DINING AREA

The Kitchen and Dining Area as a Clear Spatial Unit

The kitchen is designed as the functional core of the living space. The central island connects food preparation, storage, and informal social interaction, while the tall kitchen units create a calm backdrop with integrated appliances.

The dining area continues directly from the kitchen, defined by the same material palette, dark accents, and warm ambient lighting. The black ceiling-mounted extractor hood further emphasizes the geometry of the space.

WALK-IN WARDROBE

A Walk-In Wardrobe Designed as a Calm and Functional Space

The walk-in wardrobe is conceived as an intimate space of order, storage, and everyday practicality. The symmetrical organization of wardrobes, open shelving, and a central ottoman creates a sense of clarity, while integrated lighting emphasizes the depth of materials and the rhythm of vertical elements.

Wood tones, dark details, and decorative wall panels give the space a refined character without compromising functionality. The wardrobe thus becomes more than a service zone—it is a distinct ambiance within the private part of the house.

MASTER BEDROOM

The Master Bedroom in Balance of Tactility, Light, and Privacy

The master bedroom is designed as a calm private unit where texture, lighting, and proportions play the leading role. The wall behind the bed is clad in three-dimensional panels that create a subtle interplay of light and shadow, while soft textiles and muted tones enhance the sense of protection and rest.

The opposite side of the room continues the same design logic through darker fronts, integrated lighting, and discreet functional elements. The space remains serene, yet expressive enough to maintain the character of a primary bedroom.

BEDROOM

A Private Room Shaped by Pure Function and a Calm Atmosphere

The secondary bedroom continues the material and functional continuity of the house in a simpler, more restrained expression. A framed headboard, built-in wardrobes, console elements, and integrated lighting create a space that is practical, orderly, and visually balanced.

The room is designed without unnecessary details, focusing instead on clear organization, warmth of materials, and a sense of privacy.

HOME OFFICE

A Home Office Designed for Calm and Focus

The home office is designed as a quiet zone for work, reading, and concentration. A large desk, wood paneling, open shelving, and darker accents create a clear functional composition, while the view towards greenery and a lounge corner soften the workspace’s character and add a sense of comfort.

BATHROOMS

Bathrooms Defined by Dark Surfaces, Light, and Views of Greenery

The bathrooms continue the calm and materially expressive atmosphere of the house. Large dark surfaces, black sanitary fixtures, integrated niches, and ambient lighting create a space that is refined yet warm in its overall impression.

A walk-in shower, freestanding washbasin, and bathtub positioned near a large glazed surface introduce a subtle wellness character into the everyday function of the bathroom. The view towards greenery further enhances the sense of privacy and a peaceful retreat.
