House on Krk

Punat

The complete renovation of the weekend house in Punat resulted in an interior that blends contemporary lightness with refined classical details. The lower floors are designed as a warm, airy gathering area for family and friends, featuring natural wood tones, calm textures, and carefully placed accents. A special touch is added by the impressive ceramic coverings — from dynamic patterns with pronounced veining to subtle hexagonal formats — which bring rhythm, depth, and a distinctive character to the kitchen, bathrooms, and circulation areas.

The bedrooms retain a soft elegance through a balanced palette, refined patterned wallpapers, and understated wall mouldings that create a sense of calm and relaxation.

The attic is envisioned as an intimate social corner, where dark tones, ceiling beams, and ambient lighting blend into an atmospheric, characterful space ideal for evening gatherings.

The entire project exudes a harmony of aesthetics and functionality, defining a space that is at once elegant, comfortable, and filled with warmth — a place equally suited for peaceful moments as for shared relaxation.

What is successful design?

For a house design to be successful, the objects within it must communicate with one another, respond to each other, and maintain a sense of balance.

“Beautiful details, bold use of color, balance and symmetry, spaces infused with quiet glamour and a touch of drama — this is the signature touch of Creative Tourism Industry design.”

“Details are not details; they create the design.”
