A Complete Family Home Interior Defined by Elegance, Functionality, and Attention to Detail
This family house interior project in Zagreb was developed through a comprehensive renovation approach, focusing on the balance between a refined aesthetic and everyday functionality. The home’s central living areas — the kitchen, dining room, and living room — were designed as interconnected spaces for gathering, relaxation, and daily living, with a carefully considered interplay of dark tones, light marble surfaces, and gold accents.
The design concept combines classic sophistication with contemporary lines through curved transitions, arches, wall paneling, decorative moldings, cornices, and thoughtfully selected lighting. Custom-made furniture, integrated storage solutions, and carefully curated decorative elements create an interior that feels elegant yet understated.
Private areas, including the bedrooms, walk-in wardrobe, bathrooms, and home office, continue the same design language through softer tones, textured materials, and a warmer, more intimate atmosphere. The result is an interior that brings together aesthetic clarity, comfort, and lasting value.

A Kitchen Designed as the Heart of Everyday Living
The kitchen was designed as both the functional and visual centerpiece of the home. Dark matte cabinetry, marble surfaces, and gold accents create a striking contrast, while the large island seamlessly combines food preparation, social interaction, and everyday use.
Its open connection to the living area is emphasized by an elegant arched transition, allowing the kitchen to feel not like a separate service space, but as an integral part of the home’s main living environment. Sculptural lighting further highlights the island’s central position, introducing a refined, almost salon-like character to the space.

Dark Tones, Marble, and Sculptural Lighting in the Central Space
The kitchen and dining area are unified through a consistent palette of materials and details. Dark elements, light stone surfaces, and statement lighting fixtures create a space that is at once functional, representative, and warm in everyday use.

The Entrance as an Introduction to the Home’s Character
The entrance area continues the design language of the main living zones through custom-built wardrobes, a bench, a mirror, and decorative wall details. Functional elements are designed as a calm and refined introduction to the rest of the interior.

Private Zones with Distinct Atmospheres, United by a Shared Sense of Elegance
The bedrooms are designed as a calmer part of the home, with a focus on comfort, texture, and refined detailing. Each room has its own atmosphere, yet remains part of a unified design concept through the repetition of soft tones, gold accents, decorative lines, and carefully selected lighting.

A Walk-In Wardrobe as an Extension of the Private Zone
The master bedroom walk-in wardrobe is conceived as a space that connects everyday organization with a sense of private luxury. A central island, open shelving, closed storage units, and integrated lighting create a clear, functional, and visually calm environment.
A light color palette, gold accents, and mirrors further enhance the sense of openness, while bespoke solutions ensure the space is precisely tailored to the user’s needs and lifestyle.

Bathrooms Defined by a Calm Palette, Stone, and Gold Accents
The bathrooms continue the refined material language of the interior through light stone cladding, gold fixtures, wall lighting, and clean-lined sanitary fittings. Each bathroom is designed as a separate functional unit, yet remains clearly connected through tone, materials, and atmosphere.

A Home Office Designed as a Private Library
The home office introduces a more intimate and warmer character to the interior. A large custom-built library, wooden tones, a work desk, and soft ambient lighting create a space that combines focus, reading, and everyday work.
In contrast to the more representative central zones, this room feels calmer and more personal. Darker wood, textiles, and carefully designed lighting details give it the atmosphere of a private library within a family home.
